Hi, I'm Sandra, a great lover of art and all things crafty.
As an artist my favourite mediums to work with are watercolour, acrylic and textile.
I find great pleasure in travelling round the Norfolk countryside to find subjects for my next paintings.
The textile art panels are created using fabric and silk paint, ink pencils, transfer and print.
They can be lightly washed when set so are ideal for making soft furnishings, bags, table cloths, chair backs, footrests and decorating curtains and blinds.
My other love is writing.
I wrote and illustrated my first book called 'Know before you sew' to explain haberdashery and the importance of using the right tools for the job.
At present I am writing and illustrating a set of children's books. These explain the role of farm animals in a light hearted way.
The first book is called 'Curly sheep's bad hair day' which should be out in the autumn.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work and maybe book up to learn it too.
